Kybella is an injectable fat dissolving substance made of deoxycholic acid, which dissolves fat cells. Once the fat cells are destroyed, they can never grow back. This means that the results of the treatment are long-lasting. Additionally, Kybella provides a very even, smooth, natural-looking result that is hard to achieve with other treatments. Liposuction, for example, can result in irregular distribution of fat removal, whereas Kybella is very uniform.

Under eye bags are caused by unevenness in the fat pad underneath the eyes. This can be due to general aging and retraction of the fat pad, wherein it retracts and bunches up under the eye and creates a sunken area in between the eye and the cheek, which we call a tear trough.
